The MIT Press Podcast

As the the MIT press pages states, “the MIT Press Podcast series is a new monthly audio program spotlighting the authors of The MIT Press.” The first episode features Sherry Turkle, the editor of Evocative Objects: Things We Think With. It, the podcast, my prove to be a good thing to think or at least a satisfying distraction.

The Museum of Natural and Artificial Ephemerata

What better way to start this blog off than with a reference to the work of the Museum of Natural and Artifical Ephemerata? The MNAE, from its home on the east side of Austin, Texas hosts an impermanent collection of things. With a Benjaminian eye for the inanimate, curators Scott Webel and Jen Hirt do an uncanny job of drawing on varied vaudevillian and museological traditions.
